First Church of Human Spirit is indeed planned to be a meeting place for naturalists, atheists, humanists, agnositics, brights and other deity free networkers.

As much as I would love to see the world populated with deity-free Human Spirit Churches (or assemblies or whatever term works) right now just helping network people is the goal.

PLEASE, no missionaries...preach to your own choirs.

When I think and write about Human Spirit, I am refering to the emotions that define our daily lives and behaviors. While I have been studying Humanism the idea for a Church bog about all the ways we use this term started to develop.

"A spirited crowd. Lost the spirit."

I see "Human Spirit" as the emotions, spirits that motivate us. Natural spirits or emotions or feelings that our brains and minds produce according to our health, character and upbringing. These "spirits" can be nutured, and communities can develope around the spirit of helpfulness, compassion and tolerance, to name just some starting ideas....

It is almost Valentine's Day. What would our world be like if we lived in the Spirit of Love?

Hopefully I will be able to upload some of the material  I have been preparing for friends when they visit Human Spirit Church.
